Redbull released a video featuring freerunner Jason Paul doing an awesome parkour run on a classic 8-bit video game style set up. It also comes complete with 8-bit sound effects, which completes the viewing experience. Here's a description that was provided:
The Set-Up in which Jason Paul and Team Farang are performing their run is simply awesome. The scenery is built in the look and feel of a 2D video game and reminds of legendary arcade games. Jason Paul needs to find the way out of a Maya temple, has to fight Ninjas before he finds his way over sketchy roof tops to the spot of the big show down: The fight against the final opponent, the end boss. Game over! Winner: Jason Paul.
I'd love to do this kind of stuff, which is why I'm actually learning how to do it with the help of a friend of mine.

Red Bull was already stampeding YouTube audiences even before it set a record this past weekend with its live stream of skydiver Felix Baumgartner’s supersonic 120,000-foot freefall. The channel had 23.4M views in the week that ended on October 10, an increase of 19.8M from the previous week. That was far more than it needed to push The Warner Sound out of the No. 1 spot it has held since late June in our weekly tally of Google-funded YouTube channels. About 16M views came on Tuesday when Baumgartner had scheduled the jump, which was aborted due to high winds. Red Bull also attracted about 2M views for a video of an elaborate Rube Goldberg contraption activated by free run champion Jason Paul. The extraordinary results contributed to a 22.2% increase in total views for the channels we track. Red Bull alone accounted for 22% of the total, and the top 10 had 61%. We also...

After watching parkour practitioner Jason Paul risk life in limb in this humungous Rube Goldberg machine that spans the inside And outside of a warehouse, it makes Ok Go look like a bunch of bystanders in their video for "This Too Shall Pass". I will say though, that this isn't filmed nearly as well, as it would be nearly impossible to shoot in one shot with all of the white knuckle parkour stunts performed in this.
Parkour has gotten played out a bit, but I think some superheroes could benefit from some parkour-esque stunts in the movies. Captain America had some good free running style stunts in The Avengers, and I think Batman would look sick scaling roof tops and taking down bad guys this way. What superheroes do you think could use some parkour?

Dylan Bruno of Numb3rs fame will guest star in the final two episodes (May 18 and May 25) of the current season of NCIS, which finally returns tomorrow night.
He'll play Lt. Jason Paul Dean, a freelance mercenary with ties to the private military company operated by Col. Merton Bell (Robert Patrick), TV Guide reports.
Bell, of course, has become an enemy of Gibbs (Mark Harmon), ever since our favorite NCIS agent put him away earlier this season. Where does Lt. Dean fit in?
He's an "imposing, edgy and dangerous former Army Ranger who was highly decorated before a screw-up in Afghanistan led to his dishonorable discharge."
Now a hired gun, he's not at all afraid to kill when necessary.
These two both have ties to Gibbs' foe Col. Bell.
Obviously, that's bad news for Gibbs, who arrested Bell for going after the granddaughter and daughter-in-law of Gibbs' friend Mike Franks (Muse Watson...
