Nathan was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, moving to England at a young age and settling in the Midlands. He attended Mid Warwickshire College and completed an BTEC in Design, specializing in Graphic Design. After college Nate found himself working as a Motorsport mechanic working for teams such as VW Motorsports, Seat and Opel, competing in the British and world Rally Championships.
Nate travelled to Colorado, United States, in 2000 and then working for teams in Arizona, in the American Rally Championship before settling in California. His first job in the entertainment business was Bullrun, a reality tv series. Soon after Nate worked as a set dresser in features and tv such as Cold Case, Without a Trace and Sons of Anarchy, etc.
After working as On Set Dresser on Raising Hope he transitioned into working as a Grip on the same show. Now holding cards in both Local 44 and Local 80. Since then he has primarily worked as a Grip and now focuses his career as a Dolly Grip on some of the largest shows including The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
