- Lorenza Francesca Izzo Parsons is a Chilean actress and model. She has appeared in films, including Aftershock (2012), The Green Inferno (2013), Knock, Knock (2015), and Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019). Izzo was born in Santiago, Chile, to Chilean model Rosita Parsons . She is of Italian descent on her father's side. She has a younger sister, Clara Lyon Parsons, who is a model as well. When she was twelve years old, she moved to Atlanta with her father, then working towards a Ph.D. at Georgia Institute of Technology. She was bullied over her strong Chilean accent as a child, but stated she "got over [her] accent pretty fast" after watching the 2002 sports film Blue Crush several times. - Nearly drowned in the Amazon while filming her scene in the river for the film The Green Inferno (2013). The screams in the film are her screaming for her life. She eventually was rescued when the stunt supervisor realized she wasn't acting and was yelling "Cut" in Spanish.
- Originally was cast in a Spanish language role in Nicolás López's Aftershock (2012), and it was only after speaking with producer Eli Roth that the crew realized she could speak English with no accent. They had only spoken with her in Spanish before that point.
- Although she often plays characters from the United States, her first language is Spanish. She grew up in Santiago, Chile and as a teenager lived in Atlanta, Georgia. At age 16 she returned to Chile and finished high school there, and then attended Lee Strasberg Studio in New York.
