Bleach’s manga creator, Tite Kubo, has developed quite a reputation since his series became famous worldwide for being one of the best anime and manga series of all time. However, not all of the fame that the series received was good. There are some people who do not like the series and its creator and have given multiple reasons for it.

Despite being part of the Big Three, Bleach has been criticized quite a lot. Some fans have a problem with the characters and their prolonged arcs, while others have shown discomfort with the entire story of the series. Many believe that there is no mystery and that a similar narrative is being repeated again and again, which makes the story boring.
However, Bleach fans have always defended their favorite series and its creator, Kubo. He has built a loyal fanbase that answers the haters on Kubo’s behalf.

Naruto, one of the Big Three in the world of anime and manga, has clear inspiration from another legendary franchise. In fact, Masashi Kishimoto himself admitted that it was Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball that taught him some of the most important basics of creating a manga.
After all, Toriyama was a living legend during his reign and you can’t help but fall under his influence.

After multiple attempts at kick-starting new trilogies of films have failed, the live-action Terminator film series is, understandably, taking a bit of a break… but the franchise is set to continue with an eight-episode anime series called Terminator Zero, which is coming our way from Japanese animation studio Production Ig and the Netflix streaming service. Terminator Zero is set to start streaming on August 29th – and with that date swiftly approaching, it has been revealed at the Next on Netflix: Animation event in Los Angeles that Timothy Olyphant provides the voice of the Terminator in this series!
Terminator Zero is set in the established Terminator universe but centers on new characters. Mattson Tomlin, who worked on the screenplays for The Batman and its upcoming sequel, is writer and showrunner on this series, which has the following synopsis: 2022: A future war has raged for decades between the few human survivors...

Tite Kubo might be the creator of one of the biggest Shonen anime/manga series, but that doesn’t make him immune to mistakes. In fact, his forgetful nature has impacted Bleach in the long term.
While the series began with a bombastic plot, it began accumulating plot holes as it continued. The Thousand Year Blood War arc is considered the most fatal of them all, and Kubo has offered the most simple explanation for why that is so.

It looks like Timothy Olyphant shall be the chosen one.
The Hitman star is set to voice the terse, redoubtable Terminator – the epic character once portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Terminator franchise – in the forthcoming anime series, Terminator Zero.

While replacing the legendary 76-year-old star is no short of a mammoth feat, fans seem to be excited about Olyphant’s casting as the voice actor for the cyborg assassin. At least half of the pressure must be alleviated for him after having secured the fandom’s support, and as for the other half, we’ll soon find out.

Tite Kubo’s characters in Bleach have a certain sense of uniqueness that ties them to the author. None of them have any feature that makes them look the same if not on purpose. Due to how individualistic each other the characters are, there can always be certain difficulties that pop up when it comes to drawing them.

Tite Kubo is no stranger to fame. His work with Bleach has been extravagantly awarded and praised through and through. There are many mangakas, with perhaps little to no exceptions who were inspired by others. Some of the greatest authors can find themselves in a slump with Tite Kubo being no exception to it. Writer’s block and lack of motivation are two things that are completely out of control for any author, no matter their genre. Bleach is one of the greatest mangas of the shonen genre and although its ending isn’t particularly a fan-favorite, the rest of it stands as a true masterpiece.

Holding its stance as one of the Big 3, Bleach has established itself to continue its legacy for decades to come. Such a vast story requires great amounts of creativity and dedication. Kubo almost lost it.

Satoshi Kon, the renowned director of films like Tokyo Godfathers, Paprika, and Perfect Blue, spoke out about women in Japanese media. Most otakus consume a huge amount of anime in their day-to-day life, often without questioning the realism of the characters.

The third and final season of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is most likely going to get a release date this year, and it will change the entire history of Tite Kubo’s magnum opus. Fans have been waiting for the longest time for the most important arc of the Bleach manga series to get animated and hit the screens.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War | Studio Pierrot
However, as they wait, some fans might have found a big flaw in the narrative of Bleach that might have affected their whole perspective of one of the biggest anime and manga series of all time. This flaw points out Kubo’s inability to perfectly portray the strong characters in the series and make them look deserving of their titles.
A Reddit discussion led fans to believe that Kubo might not have correctly drawn the power scaling in Bleach, and this led to a lot of confusion.

Tite Kubo’s creative genius knows no bounds. Bleach rules the world as one of the top shonen mangas, rightfully adorning the crown in the big three. The work put in the series, whether it be of the manga or the anime, has always shown tremendous depth of characters and their intricate designs. With patience and understanding comes mastery of one’s craft.

However, there are always limitations to one’s imagination. These can be of one’s own accord or due to external factors. Either way, they have an impact on the story and how it progresses. There is a clear difference between Bleach and the Thousand-Year Blood War. If it were only about the improved art skills, then the tale wouldn’t be so different and better liked. For the same, Tite Kubo knew he had to put his foot down.

Japanese animation studio Bones celebrates its 25th anniversary this year; in commemoration, Crunchyroll assembled the documentary "Bones 25: Dreaming Forward." Broken into four chapters each about the length of an anime episode, the doc features talking head interviews with Bones staff/industry peers highlighting the studio's history and most famous projects.
"Dreaming Forward" doesn't scratch far past the surface, but that's not because it lacks material. In its 25 years, Bones has produced many beloved anime series; its current hit "My Hero Academia" is one of the most popular in the world. Long before that, though, Bones broke out by adapting Hiromu Arakawa's steampunk-action manga "Fullmetal Alchemist."
Set during a fictionalized 20th century in the European-esque country Amestris, the manga centers on two alchemist brothers: Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric. When they were young children, the Elrics lost their mother, Trisha, so they tried to transmute her back to life.

As fans already know, the strongest army of the Quinchy, Wandenreich’s Sternritter, was the reason behind the war in Tite Kubo’s Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, as they served as the main antagonist of the series. Hiromu Arakawa's "Fullmetal Alchemist" is one of the best manga/anime ever drawn. It's one of my favorites, and stands out among the crowded "battle shōnen" demographic. Rather than the fantastic Japanese setting of contemporary series like "Naruto" and "Bleach," "Fullmetal Alchemist" is more inspired by the West (though not without its translation hiccups).
Set in a version of 20th century Europe where alchemy is fact, not fiction, "Fullmetal Alchemist" follows brothers Edward and Alphonse "Ed and Al" Elric. The two young alchemists tried to bring their mother back to life, breaking the "ultimate taboo" of human transmutation. The experiment backfired, robbing Ed of his right arm and left leg and Al of his whole body. In their disabled states, they embark on a quest to find the Philosopher's Stone. The Stone can bypass the fundamental law of alchemy and, the brothers believe, restore their bodies.

Tite Kubo’s Bleach has had its fair share of controversial moments in the past, but the biggest controversial moment of the entire story revolved around the captain of the sixth division of the Gotei 13, Kuchiki Byakuya. Byakuya is one of the strongest characters in the entire story, and he has proven this multiple times.

However, when the Soul Society was attacked by the Wandenreich in Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, Byakuya engaged in a battle with Äs Nödt, one of the Sternritters. Äs Nödt was extremely powerful, and he managed to not only easily defeat the captain but also kill him with his terrifying technique.
While many believed that Äs Nödt’s battle with Byakuya was his final battle, Kubo decided to reverse his death and not only bring him back for a rematch against the Sternritter but also make him win. This led to the biggest Bleach controversy in history,...

Tite Kubo’s Bleach is known for a lot of things, but the most prominent aspect that makes Bleach part of the Big Three is its action sequences. While the series may sometimes lack in terms of the storyline or the characters, it has never failed to portray brilliant action sequences that take the breath away from anime fans.
Bleach anime | Studio Pierrot
Kubo’s way of drawing action sequences is completely different from that of any other manga creator. Even legendary mangakas like Eiichiro Oda cannot come close to drawing or even imagining such unique battles. The mangaka once revealed his secret for drawing such great fight scenes for his magnum opus.
He revealed that he imagines the camera angles and plays the fight scenes like a video in his mind, and then later on, he draws them like the way he created them in his head. He also...

Bleach is a member of the Big Three club of Shonen anime, and deservedly so. However, its protagonist, Ichigo, is nowhere near the most liked Shonen hero. Tite Kubo created a boy-next-door character who was thrust into responsibilities too big for him.
Luffy and Naruto, on the other hand, have huge individual fanbases. But why are things so different for Ichigo despite being in the same genre? The truth might lie in a 2023 interview with Tite Kubo.
Tite Kubo Admits His Thoughts About Ichigo Ichigo Kurosaki in Bleach | Crunchyroll
In an interview with Viz Media, Tite Kubo talked about who he considers to be his heroes. He mentions GeGeGe no Kitaro and Saint Seiya as his favorite, but they are not heroes in that sense.
What is a hero? I’ve never thought of Ichigo as a hero, either. [lol]

The recent wave of live-action adaptations of popular series has caught up with many prominent anime and manga series like One Piece, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho, etc. Fans are always hoping for their favorite anime and manga to get a live-action adaptation to experience their world more realistically.
Bleach Anime
However, Bleach fans might never be able to get this satisfaction. Bleach’s creator, Tite Kubo, once revealed that he doesn’t want Bleach to be adapted into a live-action series or movie because he drew the series specifically to be featured as a manga. He even went on to say that if Bleach’s live-action was possible, he wouldn’t have drawn the manga.
Despite this, Kubo’s magnum opus did receive a live-action adaptation movie in 2018, and it might not have been as successful as the One Piece live-action series, but it still got decent reception and reviews.

Have you ever heard a song in a movie or TV show that’s so good that it inspires your muses? I’m one of those people who listens to music when she writes, and many of those songs come from a movie or TV show that slips in a tune that I have to listen to on repeat. A recent gem on the list is from the second season of Invincible from singer-songwriter d4vd. “Feel It” is peak writing fuel for my muses, so I was thrilled to learn that d4vd is also someone who’s inspired by the media around him. “I wrote songs like ‘Here With Me’ after watching the Disney movie Up ,” he said in our interview, and boy, does that add a Lot of context to that song. d4vd is also a huge anime fan, as seen when watching his videos. Terminator Zero is set to start streaming on August 29th – and to start building the hype, a batch of first look images have arrived online today. You can check them out right here in this article.
August 29th was chosen for the release date because the Terminator films told us that the Judgment Day event occurred on August 29, 1997. Coincidentally, that was also the day Marc Randolph and Reed Hasting launched Netflix as an online DVD rental service.

In the 2000s, the shonen genre was dominated by the Big Three, featuring none other than Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece. Bleach has some of the most complex yet intriguing styles of fighting including the use of bankai. From Byakuya Kuchiki’s Senbonzakura Kageyoshi and Shinji’s Sakashima Yokoshima Happōfusagari to Ichigo’s Tensa Zangetsu. They are visually artistic, mesmerizing, and most importantly; dangerously powerful. There are many who work hard and dedicatedly to achieve their bankai.

Tite Kubo’s skills allow not only a spectacle to look at but also a story to engross oneself in completely. There are many who can achieve their bankai, such is the case with how close their bond is to their Zanpakuto. At the same time, there are those who are unable to achieve the same. Aizen is the biggest example of the same. Although he wasn’t able to achieve that, his abilities did not make him feel like he was lacking one.

Tite Kubo’s Bleach is one of the most unique stories because it is based around Soul Reapers who are trying to protect their Soul Society from impending doom while also maintaining peace on Earth. However, the story is not the only thing that is unique about Kubo’s magnum opus. The name of the series also has a unique connection that many fans don’t know.

Bleach as a name felt weird to a lot of fans as it did not have any direct reference to the vast variety of elements of the series. Often, the special ingredient behind a successful villain is a tera-jerker backstory. You can see it in My Hero Academia (Shigaraki), Naruto (Itachi Uchiha), and many other hit anime. Yet, Tite Kubo managed to create one of the biggest anime villains with absolutely no backstory.

A healthy rivalry between manga creators is not a bad thing. But when this rivalry is seen between industry giants like Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, and Tite Kubo, the creator of Bleach, it creates a sense of tension between the fans of both series. In 2017, Kubo stated on a radio show that he was jealous of Oda and hated him.

Bleach is one of the Big Three of anime. Even though it did not reach the same popularity as Naruto and One Piece, it still played a crucial role in changing the course of the manga and anime industry for the better. Bleach revolves around Ichigo Kurosaki, who met a female shinigami, Rukia Kuchiki, and later became a substitute shinigami.
Tite Kubo did a great job with his magnum opus, but the fans always felt that the ending was rushed and could have been explored more. While most fans thought it was due to Shueisha forcing Kubo to wrap up the manga in a limited time, it was actually the mangaka who wanted the manga to end. The Thousand Year Blood War arc suffered a rushed ending.

News broke out recently that Japan’s major manga publisher, Shogakukan, along with several other public and private companies invested 2.92 billion yen (approximately Usd 19.5 million) in manga localization company Orange Inc.
The ideology behind the investment was to boost the export of manga overseas by using AI translations as it would reduce the time taken to translate these works.
The anime and manga industry has watched with a mix of intrigue and apprehension as AI has matured rapidly.
While AI’s potential for streamlining workflows and reducing production costs is undeniable and even favored by those wanting to increase productivity, concerns do linger about its impact on human creators who have dedicated their careers to this field.
In that light, Japan championing for AI manga translations has the potential to reshape the entire manga industry. Unsurprisingly, overseas manga translators and lettering artists have greeted the news with a healthy dose of skepticism.

The job of a voice actor, particularly in the anime world, is not easy. They have to go through every emotion and portray it exactly like the characters in the series. This was experienced by Natsuki Hanae, the voice actor for Tanjiro Kamado in one of the most popular anime and manga series, Demon Slayer.
Demon Slayer Mugen Train
Hanae has voiced a lot of characters in the anime industry, like Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul, Korai Hoshiumi in Haikyu!!, Vanitas in The Case Study of Vanitas, Gremmy Thoumeaux in Bleach, etc. But he has earned the most recognition because of his portrayal of Tanjiro, as it is probably his best performance as of yet.
Hanae once revealed that he had developed a legitimate fear while filming Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba—The Movie: Mugen Train because of the intensity and depth of emotions in the movie. He was afraid...
