- TriviaThe bombing of the Amsterdam Civil Registry Office took place on 27 March 1943. As seen in this film, the fire department delayed their efforts in fighting the fires and then completely doused the building with water in an attempt to further damage the records. However, only about 15% of the files were destroyed.
