Evangelion Shin Gekijôban: Ha (2009)
Different but entertaining
This movie is an interesting take on how to do a reimagining of a original story. While it hits most of the original story beats but in a different order and some are just tweaked. It is a bit better in my opinion than the first rebuild, it adds back in some downtime and relationship building between the characters rather than the first ones take on just going fight scene to fight scene. The visuals are still beautiful and the fight scenes have added a fun amount of gore to make up for the added down time for the fans looking just to see big robots fight kaiju. Definitely worth the watch.
Evangelion Shin Gekijôban: Jo (2007)
Disappointing for fans but still a fun watch
The most notable problem for this movie is it's pacing, for fans of the original series they will be able to notice how scenes are cut very short in comparison to the original. This movie wants to retell 3 hours of the original in about half the time and it definitely shows. However the visuals are beautiful and for better or worse the music has been changed or updated in every scene. If you like NGE this movie is still worth the watch just to see the differences and to make your own opinion and for anyone just jumping in this is a fun action movie with some badass visuals.
Blood Mania (1970)
Terrible story but great fun
This movie has a absurd amount of pointless nudity, having one pop up every few minutes, and even one immediately after a murder of a character's father. The story is dumb and poorly written even to the point of one of the main characters just disappearing halfway into the movie with no explanation. There is next to no blood in the whole film. However despite the fact that there is almost nothing good about this movie, at the end of the day it was a very fun piece of media to watch with a friend. (You can even make a drinking game for every time there is a naked woman)
Blood of Dracula's Castle (1969)
Played way too straight
Blood of Dracula's castle seems be a bit confusing on what type of movie it is, you would think it would be a comedy considering the "plot" being Dracula's lease ending on his castle so he kidnaps the couple trying to take over the castle, or the over the top character that is Johnny, maybe even the assistant being named Mango. But for some reason the movie is played completely straight. A smaller complaint is that for a movie called Blood of Dracula's castle there is very little blood at all. Still a decently enjoyable film by the end if you enjoy this type of movie.
