"Bibi & Tina voll verhext!" tells the story of the young witch Bibi and her best friend Tina, who save the day when burglars try to rob the aristocrat father of Tina's boyfriend Alex.
The film is a movie adaption of the famous German audiobook series "Bibi und Tina" and targeted mainly towards a young female audience (at least in the past). Many of the elements the film depicts are horrible German cinema trash, as known from way too many German productions. In opposition to those, this film doesn't take itself all too serious and even plays with its trash factor. Thus it gets easier to see the action with a smile and lean back.
All in all this is by no means a good movie but it has a kind of unique charme and comedic value. For children this is a fine film, for grown ups it's so so.
