It's appalling that this series received a 5 when it deserves a 10/10. Firstly, the entire cast was awesome, every single one of them. The storyline and plot was gripping, never short of wanting to leave your chair for a quick comfort break. The setting and costumes were glorious and music was simply beautiful. SLB once again did a marvelous job at producing something so beautiful and needless to say, you don't need the overrated actors to make such series or movies. One example is Ae Watan Mere Watan. It did nothing the the emotions or soul when it obviously should have. Instead, it was rather damping to watch the over acting os Sara Ali Khan. Understandably, she had to in order to make an impact. Heeramandi on the other hand took me on an emotional roller coaster ride. There were many moment of grit, hatred, sadness and joy. It was simply remarkable.
